Advice Services

We provide two advice services – JIGSO in the Vale of Glamorgan and Housing Options Project (HOPs) in Cardiff.

JIGSO

JIGSO is Llamau’s office in the Vale. It has the following services based there:

  • Housing and welfare rights advice for young people aged 16 - 25 years in housing need.;
  • Family Mediation;
  • Supported Lodgings Scheme for young people leaving care;
  • Tenancy Support Scheme providing housing related support to people in their own homes;
  • Completion of homelessness applications from 16 and 17 year olds on behalf of Vale of Glamorgan County Council;
  • Learning 4 Life.

HOPs

HOPs is a young person focused service providing:

  • Advice and advocacy in relation to housing and welfare rights;
  • Family Mediation;
