    Refuge Support Assistants - permanent roles (SA03)

    Salary: £17645.14 per annum

    We are currently recruiting for Support Assistants for Women's Services across South Wales Projects including both Refuge provision in Caerphilly & Merthyr and Women only projects in Cardiff and Newport.

    We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and adaptable women to join our diverse team of staff who engage and support women and their families.


    Hours:

    Full time rota consists of 2 x night shifts (4.45pm – 9.45am with ‘sleep in’ hours, but available to deal with urgent issues around support and security during the night), and 2 daytime shifts of 7 hours each per week.
    Part time rota consists of 1 x night shift (4.45pm – 9.45am with ‘sleep in’ hours, but available to deal with urgent issues around support and security during the night), and 1 daytime shift of 7 hours each per week.

    Flexibility is required for attendance at e.g. Team Meetings / Full Team Meetings / Support & supervisions etc.

    The Support Assistant role involves ensuring the safe running and maintenance of a project, recording and reporting incidents that arise in accordance with Llamau’s procedures, and working alongside support workers to support the implementation of Individual Support Plans at all times.

    Refuge Support Assistants will oversee out of hours referrals and move ins and a driving licence will be essential.

    Due to the nature of the role, the vacancy is open to women only. (Exempt under The Equality Act 2010)
