How do we help women and children like Sara and her mum who are living with domestic abuse?
For Sara, life at home has become difficult and dangerous. She and her mother are both suffering domestic abuse at the hands of her father. We work with women and children just like Sara and her mum who are facing and escaping domestic abuse.
For women who have made the decision to leave their abusive situations, we manage secure and anonymous refuges which will accommodate them and their children. Our specially trained workers help both the women and children gain the confidence to re-build their lives. For those women who do not wish to come into refuge, we provide the support and advice they need to cope with their situation.
