The partnership has also given undergraduate psychology students the opportunity to undertake in placements with Llamau as part of the Cardiff University School of Psychology Professional Placement Scheme and the Cardiff Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme (CUROP). Having these students on placement at Llamau ensures that an ongoing connection is maintained between the University and the work Llamau does every day.

The KTP gives both postgraduate and undergraduate students a wealth of opportunities to develop their skills, gain valuable experience and enhance their employability. The knowledge transfer findings have also been included in undergraduate teaching at the University, meaning that all students are able to learn about the pathways between research and practice
