Why PAT Test?

PAT Testing enables employers to:

  • Take reasonably practicable steps to safeguard the health and safety of their staff, customers and visitors.
  • Meet their legal responsibilities under Health and Safety legislation including the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.
  • Comply with the conditions set by their insurance companies, preventing a policy becoming void for failure to maintain equipment.


Maintaining the safety of electrical appliances is an ongoing process and we encourage all staff to undertake user checks. We are happy to provide informal training to assist in this as part of our PAT Testing service.
