An exciting opportunity has arisen for Llamau to recruit for 2 x Volunteer Coordinators; one role to be based in North Wales and the other to be based in South Wales.

Last year official statistics showed that over 7000 young people aged 16-24 asked for help with homelessness. Young People need to know where to go to access support out of hours, during the evenings and weekends when young people are at their most vulnerable.

LLamau is launching the All Wales Helpline which will be manned by experienced Llamau staff and volunteers. They will provide at risk young people with information on where to access safe temporary accommodation in their locality and offer advice on what it means to declare themselves homeless and the statutory support available to them.

The Volunteer Coordinator's role is to oversee all aspects of the delivery of the All Wales Helpline. To ensure the highest possible service is provided to young people accessing the line.

If you are driven to make a difference and get the best outcomes for the people we support, we look forward to hearing from you.
