The post will require specialist knowledge and experience in dealing with victims of domestic abuse within a multi-agency co-ordinated response. Supporting individuals in Newport to remain in their homes, provide housing related and safety support.

Location: Newport DAFS

Hours: 35 hours per week Monday-Friday

Although flexibility is required outside of these hours for evenings and weekend support appointments, if needed by those being supported e.g. around work hours / for urgent issues.

Also on call responsibility as part of a rota for first tier on call to cover Newport, Monmouthshire and Cardiff WS.

Contract: Fixed Term until March 2020 with potential for a 12 month rolling extension.

Salary: £20,858 pa
