Have you ever considered  joining Llamau’s Relief Bank of Workers and working the hours you want to whilst gaining experience of working with our young people and women and developing a rewarding role within supported housing?

As a Relief Worker, you could be working in Young People’s Services, Women’s Services or Domestic Abuse Services . You would receive a thorough induction into the service and project where you would be working.

Your role would involve:

  1. Engaging with those we support, at every opportunity, in order to build trusting and respectful relationships with them. Get to know the individual, their strengths and challenges, and how the whole team can support them most effectively.
  2. Providing support flexibly to ensure maximum chance of each individual engaging in the support available. E.g. offer to support them when they are at the project and interacting with you, rather than expecting them to stick rigidly to an appointment time.

We are looking to recruit flexible, resilient, enthusiastic team players who can engage with those we support, enabling them to achieve their goals.

Shifts will be available to be booked slightly in advance, AND for emergency cover purposes.

Day shifts are 9.30-5pm and  night shifts are 4.45pm-9.45am. The hourly rate is £8.77.

If you feel you can show flexibility and are committed to making a difference we would like to hear from you.
