An exciting opportunity for a Support Worker in Merthyr Tydfil has become available. You will be supporting young people aged 16-21 in our 24hr Supported Housing Project. You will work closely alongside other agencies supporting the individuals including, Social Services, Police, Homelessness & Housing and many other partnership workers.

Location: Merthyr Tydfil

Contract: Full-time, Fixed term for 12 months

Hours: Working hours are 35 hours a week, between Monday to Friday (9:30am-5pm) 

Flexibility may be required to work outside of core hours to support young people when they need it most, and to attend team meetings, training events etc.

Floating Support Workers take part in the `1st tier On Call rota (1 week in 14).  Providing 1st tier On Call support and advice for projects within Cwm Taf including 24hr staffed projects. This may require providing some shift cover / out of hours project attendance where alternatives are not possible.

This involves providing On Call support and advice for young people supported, with issues and emergencies they may need to deal with. This may require providing out of hours project attendance where alternatives are not possible.

Salary: Full Time - £20,858 per annum + 2%
