An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an established support team within Llamau. The post, based in Newport, will provide a high level of housing related support to people living in the Newport area. You will be required to help the people we support build on their strengths and support them to achieve goals that are set with them to meet their needs to sustain their accommodation, in partnership with colleagues and other agencies, with the aim of them becoming integral parts of the communities in which they choose to live. You will need to be confident enough to deliver a high quality service, while ensuring safety and wellbeing is at the forefront of service delivery.

Hours: 35 hours

35 hours a week. Mainly Monday to Friday 9 – 5pm, however flexibility is required to work outside of these hours to provide support to people whose employment / training / caring commitments mean they need appointments outside of these hours, also to deal with urgent issues.

Support Workers take part in the On Call rota. Providing On Call support and advice for those supported to deal with emergencies 24/7. This may require attending to provide emergency support ‘out of hours’.

Salary: £20,858.00 per annum
