An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Llamau's new Young Peoples Supported Lodgings team in Neath Port Talbot. You will be providing support to young people who are housed with Supported Lodging Providers. Also providing support to providers to ensure the success of placements and helping prevent homelessness by supporting young people to build skills, and move on into their own tenancies.

You will be working with young people to develop their understanding of the rights and responsibilities of being a tenant and good neighbour. Supporting young people with housing related support needs and risk issues. You will also work closely alongside other agencies supporting the young person, including Children's Services, Health and Criminal Justic Agencies.

Llamau's Neath Port Talbot Young People's team look forward to welcoming and supporting new colleagues interested in supporting young people to achieve their goals.

You will need to be flexible to meet the needs of the people we support, and as such, some evening and weekend work will be required. On call is also a responsibility of this role with other Support Workers / Supported Lodgings Officers, providing advice and support for young people and hosts, including visiting them out of hours to support them to deal with emergencies.
