An exciting & rewarding opportunity to join Llamau’s new Young People’s support team in Blaenau Gwent. supporting the team to support young people in a 24 hour staffed project, and those moving on who need short term resettlement support to successfully move into their own home. You will be working with young people to develop their understanding of the rights and responsibilities of being a tenant and good neighbour, and to build their skills to be able to do this. You will also work closely alongside other agencies supporting the young person, including Children’s Services, YOS & Education & Training providers.

35 hours a week.  Mainly Monday to Friday 9 – 4.30pm, however flexibility is required to work outside of these hours to support, supervise & work alongside all members of the team.  There may also be a requirement to cover some shifts at the project.

Team Leaders take part in the ‘2nd tier’ On Call rota approx. 1 week in 6.  Providing On Call support and advice for 1st Tier On Call, with issues and emergencies they may need to deal with.  This may require providing some shift cover where alternatives have not been possible.

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: £24,646.00 per annum
