We are delighted to be partnering with ACT Training throughout 2019 on our mission to end homelessness for young people and vulnerable women in Wales.

ACT’s continued support of Llamau helps support young homeless people in Wales to overcome barriers to attend training and/or secure employment when they are ready. In addition, ACT staff regularly take part in a number of fundraising activities throughout the year in a bid to raise awareness of the charity and gather much-needed funds.

ACT Training also entered a team in Sleep Out 2018. The team of ACT staff built their own shelter and slept in it overnight to raise funds for Llamau, and successfully raised a fantastic £2,301.39.

ACT staff also enjoy volunteering their time, getting involved in activities such as sorting Christmas presents for people supported by Llamau. ACT also recently hosted a craft fayre at their headquarters cafe, where young people supported by Llamau sold their handcrafted items, raising £120.

Caroline Cooksley, ACT’s Development Director said,

ACT is incredibly proud and excited to continue our partnership with Llamau. We look forward to working together to continue raising much-needed awareness and funds for this amazing charity.

Barbara Redmore, Corporate and Community Fundraiser for Llamau, added,

We are thrilled that ACT are supporting and championing Llamau once again this year! ACT’s commitment to Llamau makes a huge difference to the lives of the young people we support and we look forward to seeing how our partnership develops over the next year.
