"Regardless of how many challenges Covid threw our way, we knew that now more than ever, the young people and women we support needed a safe and stable place to call home."

As the country continues to navigate the difficult challenges that the coronavirus pandemic has created, we are working hard to ensure that we are able to provide support to some of the most vulnerable people in Wales.

As an organisation that works with isolated vulnerable young people and women, it is simply not an option for our services to close. We not only have a duty to ensure that those people we are already supporting continue to be supported, but we must also make sure that young people and women who are at an increased risk of becoming homeless as a result of COVID-19 are able to get the support they need as soon as they need it.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, our frontline colleagues have worked tirelessly, developing innovative ways of working and often putting the wellbeing of others before their own, all to ensure that the young people and women who need our support are still able to receive it.

Not only is this a significant logistical challenge, but one which inevitably comes at an additional cost.

We want to celebrate the determination and commitment of our front line colleagues. Which is why we’re asking everyone to join us in giving a ‘High Five’ to a Key Worker – donating £5 to ensure that our frontline colleagues have all the equipment and resources they need to continue delivering the highest level of support possible.

We understand that this is an uncertain and worrying time for many of us, and that some of you will be worried about your own finances. However, if you are able to donate, anything you can spare, would really help to ensure that everyone who needs our support is still able to receive it in spite of coronavirus.
