Andy Moore reached Everest base camp in 2015 and, spurred on by a desire to help others achieve their dreams, he founded the adventure travel company EverTrek.

EverTrek are a small, personal company with their roots in South Wales and Andy saw that a partnership with Llamau could make a real impact on his local community.  As EverTrek’s charity of the year, Llamau will benefit from support for our Sleep Out event in November 2018 and a donation of £10 for every person who signs up to an EverTrek tour in 2018. Always looking for the next challenge, Andy is also fundraising for Llamau by running the Cardiff Half marathon.

Andy Moore, Managing Director and Co-Founder of EverTrek, said:

What a fantastic opportunity to work with and support Llamau, who share the same core values as us. EverTrek are massively committed to helping lives in Nepal by recruiting local staff and supporting local charities. Being from South Wales, I wanted to support a local charity back in my home country too.  It just felt right to give something back.

Fiona Hawthorn, Corporate and Community Fundraiser at Llamau, said:

We are a values-led organisation which puts the people we support at the heart of the organisation. Our values mean that we can offer the highest quality support and empathy and we are delighted to be partnering with a company that shares our belief that no young person or vulnerable woman should ever have to experience homelessness
