Llamau is daring to imagine a world without homelessness – will you help us to create it?

Llamau’s mission is to end youth homelessness and homelessness for women in Wales. It’s a big ambition and to some people it might seem impossible, but we know that if we all work together, homelessness genuinely doesn’t have to exist.

We’re looking for passionate, talented and tenacious people to join Team Llamau.

You’ll be an empathic person, able to understand and respond to the needs of young people as they navigate through a challenging time in their lives. You will support them through key-working sessions and a variety of other ways to develop their confidence and resilience as individuals and help them move to a positive independent future.  You will be able to remain calm and show initiative when faced with challenging situations.

You’ll be working alongside passionate and supportive colleagues in a rewarding environment, where you’ll be making a huge contribution to creating a Wales without homelessness, every single day.

These roles will be based in a new supported accommodation service in Newport. However, the service will not open until early 2022 so the roles will initially provide additional support to young people in the community, through Llamau’s floating support service.

These roles will take part in Llamau’s tiered on-call system, approximately 1 week in 15.
