Llamau is daring to imagine a world without homelessness – will you help us to create it?

Llamau’s mission is to end youth homelessness and homelessness for women in Wales. It’s a big ambition and to some people it might seem impossible, but we know that if we all work together, homelessness genuinely doesn’t have to exist.

We’re looking for passionate, talented and tenacious people to join Team Llamau.

You’ll be an empathic person, able to understand and respond to the needs of young people as they navigate through a challenging time in their lives. You will support them through key-working sessions and a variety of other ways to develop their confidence and resilience as individuals and help them move to a positive independent future.  You will be able to remain calm and show initiative when faced with challenging situations.

Your role would involve:

  1. Engaging with people support, at every opportunity, to build trusting and respectful relationships with them. You will get to know the individuals, their strengths, and challenges, and how the whole team can support them most effectively.
  2. Providing support flexibly to ensure maximum chance of each individual engaging in the support available.

We are looking to recruit flexible, resilient, and enthusiastic team players who can engage with those we support, enabling them to achieve their goals

You’ll be working alongside passionate and supportive colleagues in a rewarding environment, where you’ll be making a huge contribution to creating a Wales without homelessness, every single day.
