Llamau is daring to imagine a world without homelessness – will you help us to create it?

Llamau’s mission is to end youth homelessness and homelessness for women in Wales. It’s a big ambition and to some people it might seem impossible, but we know that if we all work together, homelessness genuinely doesn’t have to exist.

We’re looking for passionate, talented and tenacious people to join Team Llamau.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Support Worker within our Merthyr Housing First for Youth project (24 hour supported accommodation project).

You will provide support to young people in line with Housing First principles, working in close partnership with RSL’s and other accommodation services, supporting individuals with the most complex needs, to sustain their own tenancy and achieve their wishes for their futures. You will also work closely with a range of other agencies including Social Services, YOS, Probation, and Education & Training providers.

You will be working with young people to develop their understanding of the rights and responsibilities of being a tenant and good neighbour, and to build their skills to be able to do this.

You’ll be working alongside passionate and supportive colleagues in a rewarding environment, where you’ll be making a huge contribution to creating a Wales without homelessness, every single day.
