An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Floating Support Worker for the private rental sector within our Cynon Floating Support service. You will be supporting people in their own homes who are experiencing issues with their tenancies and need support. You will work closely alongside other agencies supporting the individuals including Landlords, Social Services, Police, Homelessness & Housing and many other partnership workers. You’ll be an organized individual with an attention to detail, eager to hit the ground running in a busy environment. This is a process driven role in an organisation where no two days will be the same. You’ll be working alongside passionate and supportive colleagues in a rewarding environment, where you’ll be making a huge contribution to creating a Wales without homelessness, every single day. Reference: OSW80 Contract: Fixed Term, end date March 2024 Location: Aberdare Hours: Full time 35 hours per week, Mainly Monday to Friday 9.30 – 5pm, however flexibility is required to work outside of these hours. Floating Support Workers take part in the On Call rota (1 week in 14), providing 1st tier On Call support and advice for projects within Cwm Taf including 24hr staffed projects. This may require providing some shift cover / out of hours project attendance where alternatives are not possible.
