An exciting opportunity for a part time Debrief and Mediation Worker has become available. 

You’ll be working with children and young people who go missing or run away from home/care, and their carers / parents, in Dyfed Powys.   This will in the main be Pembrokeshire, with the requirement to work flexibly across other areas as required.

You will use your skills to engage with children and young people, offering a range of preventative services including family mediation and advice for young people and their parent / carer / guardian.

You will provide targeted support, helping children and young people to be safe from harm, reducing risky behaviours and achieving positive outcomes.  Working with a range of other agencies, you will share relevant information in order to safeguard the child and reduce the frequency of going missing. 

Please note that to fulfil the criteria for this role you will also need to undergo Non-Police Vetting (NPPV – level 2).

Contract: Part Time, Permanent

Hours: 17.5 hours per week, between Monday to Friday 9:30-5pm including flexibility to meet needs of the young people, working evenings and weekends where required.

Salary: £10,638 per annum

Location: Pembrokeshire, with the requirement to work flexibly across other areas as required throughout Dyfed Powys.

Essential: Driving Licence and own car
