Llamau has partnered with Hafan Cymru to deliver free 3 hour sessions for anyone who comes in to contact with children and young people through their work, volunteering roles or learning environments.

The workshops have been designed to help anyone working with children or young people to understand and identify the signs and behaviours of children and young people experiencing or affected by VAWDASV, and how they can reach out and offer help.

These half day (3 hours) workshops will focus on the below core areas:

  • Awareness of violence against women, domestic abuse and sexual violence
  • Definitions of violence against women, domestic abuse and sexual violence
  • Understanding the types of abuse and behaviours
  • Understanding the impact of living with abuse for children and young people
  • Recognising warning signs of trauma
  • Exploring a range of tools, you can use to help children and young people
