Be a Llamau Secret Santa

We know that this year is likely to be a very different Christmas for everyone, but for the people we support, who simply don’t have the support network of family and friends that many of us take for granted, it will be especially difficult.

Usually at this time of year, we would be asking for donations of gifts for the young people and women we support. Whilst we understand how much our supporters love to spread the Christmas spirit by donating gifts, the ongoing COVID19 pandemic means that, this year, it is incredibly difficult for us to manage and distribute donations whilst also keeping our colleagues, supporters and the people we support safe. Not only this, but we would also hate for any gifts to go undelivered due to unexpected lockdown restrictions.

That’s why, this year, we are asking for monetary donations that will allow our frontline support colleagues to choose a bespoke gift for each person they support, based on what they know that person will love.

  • £5 could pay for a selection box for a young person to enjoy.
  • £10 could pay for a Christmas stocking for a young person to open Christmas morning.
  • £15 could pay for a present for a survivor of domestic abuse, reminding them that they are not alone.
  • £20 could pay for a young person to have Christmas lunch with all the trimmings, helping to create a family environment and belonging.
  • £40 could pay for Christmas lunch for a survivor of domestic abuse and her children, helping them create special memories during challenging times.

Donate

For many of the people we support, a gift from Llamau will be the only gift they receive this Christmas. Which is why we want all of the people we support to receive a gift that they will truly love to open on Christmas Day. By giving a cash donation, you can ensure that happens.

Send a gift tag message to a person we support by leaving a comment with your donation. We will be featuring these across our social media channels through the festive period.

We believe that everyone deserves to have the best Christmas possible, and your continued support will make this happen.

Funds that exceed £15K will go to projects that need additional funding. No matter what you give, the total cash value will be equal to all the people we support to ensure that everyone has a gift this Christmas. The money will be shared across our services for young people and women across Wales.

Below are all of our amazing corporate partners who have chosen to be a Llamau Secret Santa this Christmas.
