Caleb began his journey with Llamau after being involved with the criminal justice system. After being released, Caleb spent 10 months on Llamau's Step into Employment programme, working hard to develop new skills and improve his employment prospects.

Caleb was determined to give himself the opportunity of a positive future and had already managed to achieve his Level 1 and Level 1a in Carpentry.

After a successful 26-week work placement with IWC Carpentry as a trainee, Caleb went on to secure a First Year Carpentry Apprenticeship with the organisation, which he is still committed to today.

In order to help remove transport as a barrier to his apprenticeship, Caleb applied for an Eversheds Bursary to purchase a bike, meaning he wouldn't have to rely on public transport. The application was successful, which allowed Caleb to buy a brand new mountain bike.
