It was a desire to do more for local charities that spurred Joe Catris, of Archenfield Insurance Management, to get the firm that he works for to be the first team to sign up to raise money for young homeless people at this year’s Sleep Out.

Joe has convinced the rest of the team at Cardiff and Monmouth-based Archenfield Insurance Management to take part in “Sleep Out,” a fundraising challenge event organised by local homelessness charity Llamau. Archenfield have committed to raising at least £3,000 for Llamau, which last year worked with over 8,100 vulnerable people across Wales.

The business account executive has set his sights high to make a difference to young people who are experiencing homelessness, and is looking forward to the challenge of sleeping outside overnight at Cardiff City Stadium in November.

Joe is now issuing a challenge to businesses across Wales to join him, sign up and raise money to ensure that Llamau can continue to deliver vital support to thousands of people across Wales each year.

Llamau’s Corporate and Community Fundraiser, Elin Evans, said “We’re thrilled that Archenfield have signed up to be our first team for Sleep Out! Youth homelessness continues to be a huge problem in Wales and Llamau is committed to ending homelessness for good.”

Llamau works across Wales with young people who are facing homelessness, providing accommodation, support and advice to help people leave homelessness behind.
