Leading Welsh homelessness charity Llamau has received a £20,000 donation following Metallica’s performance at Principality Stadium on Sunday 28 June 2026.
Llamau, the charity that supports young people, women and children at risk of or experiencing homelessness in Wales, along with its partners Centrepoint, The Rock Trust and MACS NI, have won one of five coveted awards at Homeless Link’s national Excellence Awards 2026.
Llamau, the charity working to end homelessness in Wales, has seen its new home in the Vale of Glamorgan receive Excellent and Good ratings across all key categories in its recent and first inspection by Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW).
Llamau is proud to mark a significant milestone in the journey of End Youth Homelessness Cymru (EYHC), as the national coalition becomes an independent charity.
Yvonne Connolly, Chair of Upstream UK partnership and Operations Director of Llamau, was invited to attend a special event hosted by Homewards, part of The Royal Foundation of the Prince and Princess of Wales.
