Registration Fees

You will need to make your payment for your Sleep Over registration fee before you will be added to the attendee list. We will not be able to refund any registration fees for this event.

Offline Registrations

The deadline for offline registrations will be the 20th of September 2020; all teams wishing to register for the event after this date need to do so online. Anyone that registers offline will need to pay their registration fee before they can be added to the attendee list.

Invoices

All invoices must be paid in full before the date of the event.

Age Restrictions

Sleep Over is an event for 8-16 year olds and a responsible adult. Participants aged 16 under will need to attend the event with an adult aged 21+ years old at a ratio of 1 adult per 6 young people. Any registrations that do not adhere to this ratio will be cancelled.

Adults aged 18+ will not be able to take part in this event unless they are chaperoning a young person.

Fundraising

Llamau rely on the funds raised by Sleep Over participants to be able to continue providing our life-changing services to some of the most vulnerable young people and women in Wales.

We ask that every group taking part aims to raise as much as they can. We will provide you with a fundraising pack with lots of helpful hints and tips on how you can smash your target and help more people to leave homelessness behind for good!

Sleep Over Code of Conduct

You will not be able to bring alcohol into the event. Bags will be searched as you enter, and any alcohol found will be confiscated. This is to ensure your safety when sleeping outside in the cold.

Please do not drink alcohol to excess before you arrive at the event. If you are under the influence of alcohol when you arrive at Sleep Over you will not be permitted to enter the event site.

We know that it will be difficult to get to sleep for some participants; it will be cold, and it might be wet. If you are unable to sleep, please be considerate of your fellow participants and keep noise to a minimum. Please do not play music or chat too loudly.

Please help us in our efforts to clean and tidy the event site in an Eco-conscious manner by taking your rubbish with you when you leave the venue and disposing of it properly.

If you are found to be under the influence of or in possession of alcohol or illegal substances at Sleep Over you will be removed from the event.

We will not tolerate any abusive language or behaviour from any participants towards fellow participants, event staff, or event volunteers. Anyone acting inappropriately will be removed from the event.

There will be professional First Aiders patrolling the event, as well as Llamau staff. If you see any of your fellow participants in distress at any point please let us know.

Llamau, its members, directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives and/or volunteers are not responsible for any injury, loss or damage of any kind sustained by any person while participating in the Sleep Over, including injury, loss or damage which might be caused by the negligence of Llamau.

Photography and Videography at the Event

By registering to take part in the Sleep Over you give consent on behalf of yourself and the under 16’s taking part to be photographed and filmed, and authorise the use and production of photography and videography taken at the event to be used by Llamau to promote future events. Please email [email protected] if you do not want yourself or the young person you are chaperoning to appear in any photos or videos of the event.
