We support young people and women to move into employment so that they can live independently in the future.

Our Symud Ymlaen / Moving Forward (SY/MF) programme helps young people who have offended and those leaving the care system gain greater access to employment and training by helping to develop their employability skills.

We work with employers across South Wales to place young people in a six-month paid work placement, with the ultimate aim being that the employer continues to employ the young person once the placement ends.

Llamau is the lead organisation on SY/MF, working in partnership with CBSA (Wales) to deliver the project. The funding for the project has been made available through the European Social Fund through Welsh Government.

If you would like to refer a young person to the SY/MF programme, or you are an employer and would like to offer a work placement for a young person, visit the SY/MF website for more information.
