The funding, provided through the band’s charitable foundation All Within My Hands, will support Llamau’s work with young people, women and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness across Cardiff and wider Wales.
Demand for Llamau’s services continues to grow, with increasing numbers of people needing support due to rising living costs and housing pressures. This donation will help ensure that those facing some of the most challenging circumstances can access safe housing, advice and specialist support.
Sam Austin, Chief Executive Officer, Llamau, said:
“We are incredibly grateful to Metallica and All Within My Hands for choosing to support Llamau during their visit to Cardiff. This generous donation will make a real difference to women and children facing homelessness across Wales, helping us provide safe spaces, practical support and pathways to a more stable future.”
All Within My Hands was established by the members and management of Metallica to strengthen communities through support for workforce education, tackling hunger and funding critical local services.
As part of the M72 World Tour, Metallica partners with local charities in the cities they visit, ensuring that each performance leaves a lasting positive impact in the community.
Llamau hopes that the partnership will not only provide vital funding but also help raise awareness of the realities of homelessness and the importance of community support.
