Fundraising Events Operations Volunteer
Assist our Fundraising Events team and support Llamau to create a varied and engaging suite of events every year.
What’s Involved
Help with admin tasks such as packing materials, preparing signage, or setting up registration lists
Support the Fundraising Events Manager with pre-event set-up and post-event pack-down
Emailing participants on Mailchimp to ensure fundraising guidance and event information is clearly passed on
Contribute ideas to improve supporter experience and event delivery
Welcome and engage attendees, providing a friendly and helpful presence
Assist with registration, check-in, or information points
Marshal or steward participants to ensure events run safely and smoothly
Provide directions, guidance, and general support to attendees
Act as an ambassador for the organisation, promoting its work and values
Time Commitment
Flexible hours
Available over 3 days per week
1 day at our Head Office (23-25 Cathedral Road, Cardiff, CF11 9HA)
What You’ll Need
Friendly, approachable, and confident when interacting with the public
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
Good teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when required
Willingness to help with a variety of tasks in a busy environment
Basic IT skills are desirable
No previous experience required – full guidance will be provided

Two professional or character references
Adherence to our Volunteering Code of Conduct
Understanding of Llamau’s mission
Completion of relevant training for the volunteer role
You must be over 18
